Valentine Oldies Dance Held at Leechburg Elks Lodge

Leechburg Elks Lodge 377 held their Valentine Oldies Dance on Saturday February 10th in the Lodge Ballroom. Couples of all ages danced to the hits of the 50ís and 60ís with 3WS Radio Disc Jockey R. D.Summers. A Jitterbug Contest was won by Jack and Shirley Singleton. Kim and Deb Forringer won the prize for their efforts in the Twist Contest. Proceeds of the 50/50 and Basket Raffle held at this dance will benefit the Pennsylvania Elks Home Service Nurse Program. The Lodge thanks all who attended and helped at the dance to make this event a huge success. A special thanks to the businesses and Elks who contributed money and items for the baskets that were raffled at the dance, including; Pete Kohut, Sprankles Market, The Addison House, Putignano Cigar and Candy Co, Pomfrets, Now Showing, The Old Towne Cafe, Anthony & Rosemarie Shea, and Diana Shea.
