The event will take place from 3:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. and will be repeated from 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Children and their parents may attend either ONE of the sessions.

Preschoolers who live anywhere in Armstrong County and are between the ages of three and six are welcome to attend. A PARENT OR ADULT CAREGIVER MUST ATTEND WITH THE CHILD.

A SPLENDID FRIEND, INDEED by Suzanne Bloom will be the selected book. Each child in attendance will receive a free copy of the selected book. Parents and children are encouraged to enjoy the story together along with the activities that follow.

ABC's goal is to encourage exposure to books and reading to preschoolers throughout the county. Along with the free book for their child, parents will receive a free guide to use when reading to them.

Leechburg Public Library is located within the Leechburg High School. Those attending should use the Siberian Avenue entrance.
